10 difference between IBPS ans SSC Exams & Jobs, You must know

So you have already given the IBPS (Clerk, PO, RRB) 2015-16 examination. Almost everyone who has given IBPS will also prepare for SSC (CGL or 10+2) 2016. It doesn’t matter whether you were qualified in IBPS or not, but you must know the difference in Exam pattern of SSC. So let's start discussing Each difference in detail.

Exam related differences
1 Mode of Examination Online Offline ( Rumours are that SSC will be online this time)
2 Exam Pattern IBPS has 5 sections, and there are sectional cut-off SSC have four sections, and there no sectional cut-offs
3 Quantitative Aptitude
OR
Numeric Ability Section
Data Interpretation, numbers system and interest are important topics while there are no questions from Trigonometry or geometry or Algebra. SSC have many questions on Trigonometry, Geometry, while interest related examples are comparatively less.

4 Reasoning OR General Intelligence Bank exams are tough to solve as they emphasise more on Analytical reasoning topics, like Syllogism, Arguments, Inferences, Assumptions.
The recommended book is: Book1.
SSC id comparatively easy to solve and mainly concentrate on Mathematical Operations, odd one out, Visual Reasoning.

5 English Language English is weighted 20% of total marks in IBPS. Here they concentrate more on non-grammar area i.e. Reading Comprehension, sentence arrangement, para jumbles, cloze test etc English is weighted 25% of total marks in SSC. Here they concentrate on grammar part i.e voice, Synonym/Antonym, Idiom, Phrase, Spelling, sentence correction etc.

6 Computer Awareness There is a dedicated section for computer Awareness There may be 3 to 4 questions in general awareness section.
7 General Awareness Here they mostly concentrate on Banking Awareness, except current affairs. This section of SSC is huge, here they include History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers.

8 Current Affairs IBPS gives emphasis on this topic with National and World current Affairs. SSC hardly ask 4 to 5 questions from current affairs, they concentrate on static GK.
Job Related Differences
9 Salary High Low (Compared to the similar grade post of SSC )
10 Bond 2 year normally No Bond
11 Transfers Very Frequent compulsory transfers, within 2 years (Except for Clerks) Less frequent transfers
12 Posting Anywhere in India, but you can go to home zone withing 2 to 3 year. Please note that I said Home-Zone, not Home Location. (Zones are wider than we think 300-400km) Less chances or we can say, it's not easy to get to your state back if you are posted somewhere else.
