IBPS Clerk 2015 detail Syllabus with Exam Pattern Topic wise breakup

IBPS 2015 is designed in two steps. So you will need to clear the preliminary examination first to appear for the main examination. Syllabus for both the examination is as per below.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

This exam will be of qualifying in nature and prelim score will not be counted for arriving at a final score.


Duration for Prelim is 1 Hour (60 Minute)

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern

The main exam contains total five sections totaling 200 marks.


Exam Duration for mains is 2 Hours. All sections except the English Language will be available bilingually i.e. Hindi & English.

As we can see Prelim Exam is the subset of Mains exam. So we don't need to prepare separately for both. You should prepare for the three sections till prelim and after the prelim concentrate more on remaining two sections. Let's see topic wise breakup of all the sections.
